We enjoyed a weekend with family in Boston for Rich's wedding. While there we saw some of our favorite historical sites in Concord including the North Bridge.

Spencer made his first solo kayak run.
Our neighbors kindly give us free reign of their pool so we enjoyed spending a lot of time there during our few hot weeks. Spencer was very excited that we let him swim by himself to the deep end and back. Maddie loved the water when we took her in. She will have so much fun next summer!
We continued our annual tradition and went blueberry picking last week.

Looks like you had a great summer! Keep us posted on how Spencer likes Kindergarten.
I also am a fan of the goatee. The only thing to make it better would be to shave the beard part and leave a nice handlebar mustache.
So fun! I can't believe Spencer went kayaking by himself! It must be different when you grow up somewhere near the water. You will have ocean swimmers! Weird!
