Hi everyone!
We think it's a great idea to have an update every once in awhile from everyone and so Dave thought a family blog might be an easy way to do it. Here is an update from our family:
Things are going well although we are very ready for winter to be over. Dave is busy with school and doing well, he also is the branch clerk and so that keeps his Sundays pretty busy. He hurt his back at the beginning of February and had a herniated disk so it has kind of slowed him down but he is improving and hopefuly it won't take him too long to be back to normal.
I'm not doing anything too exciting. Just taking care of the kids. I'm the Relief Society secretary in our ward and although it's a small group, it's fun. We get together for monthly lunches and activities and I am able to get with some friends of mine in our branch and their kids every week or two so it keeps us busy. It's also been very fun to be so close to Grandma and Grandpa Call and we spend a lot of time with them.
Spencer is getting so big! He had his fourth birthday last month. He is finally in primary now and enjoying it. He is in a little class with three of his friends and he loves his teacher. He went to his first primary activity last week and had so much fun. One of the older kids has kind of taken Spencer under his wing and it's really cute. He'll start pre-school in the fall and we are very excited.
Evalyn has quite the personality. She is a little chatterbox and loves to copy everything her big brother says and does. She loves to sing and dance and mostly to sit in front of the bookcase surrounded by books and read. She is in nursery now and enjoying being around her little friends.
We hope things are going well for all of you.
Dave, Catherine, Spencer, and Evalyn
